Privacy Policy

Information we collect

None. FlagQuest has no sign-up, no login and no server of our own. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, location, contacts, photos, advertising identifier or any other personal data.

Information stored on your device

So the game can remember your progress, FlagQuest saves the following locally, on your phone only:

• Your scores, accuracy and answer streaks
• Your daily challenge streak and the result of today's challenge
• Which flags you have answered correctly or incorrectly, and how often
• Your chosen region and difficulty settings

This information never leaves your device. It is not backed up to us, not synced and not visible to anyone but you. Deleting the app erases all of it permanently. You can also clear it at any time from Stats → Reset all stats.

Network requests

FlagQuest downloads flag images from flagcdn.com, a public image service operated by Flagpedia. As with loading any image on the internet, that service can see the standard technical information every web request carries — your IP address and the type of device making the request. We do not control that service and we receive nothing from it. No information about you, your scores or your usage is ever sent.

If you use the app's option to save flags for offline play, the images are cached on your device and no further network requests are made.

Third parties

FlagQuest contains no advertising networks, no analytics SDKs, no crash reporting and no social media integrations. We do not sell, rent or share data with anyone, because we do not have any data to share.

Children

FlagQuest is suitable for all ages and is rated 4+. Because the app collects no personal information from anyone, it collects none from children either. It complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) by design.

Your rights

Regulations such as the GDPR and CCPA give you rights to access, correct, export and delete personal data held about you. FlagQuest holds no such data on any server, so there is nothing for us to retrieve or erase. The data on your device is entirely under your control and can be deleted at any time as described above.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new date at the top. If a future version of the app were ever to begin collecting data, that change would be described here and made clear inside the app before it took effect.
